Fantastic food and service!!!

New owners. New food selection's. Nice eating area for roadside snack bar. More like an outdoor restaurant than a snack bar.

It is not that good at all

47 minute ticket time. Burger was cold. Philly cheese steak had a 3 oz piece of fat....fries were cold. Milkshake had melted. I have been going to this place since the beginning. Never been worse

Terrible portion sizes, prices are too high. Messed up an order after it was repeated multiple times, added nuts to something that was not written anywhere as having nuts — this could be a serious allergy issue. One ice cream cone had half a scoop and other would have two or three full scoops for the same size. Prices are far too much for the wait time, poor portions, and bad service. Staff were not properly wearing masks in the store and not enforcing social distancing guidelines. Will not be coming back.

The snack bar needs training in proper food handling. The window attendant gave us an order that was not ours, so I returned it. We had touched the food in the bag and she took it from us and then tried to serve it to the appropriate person. I had to tell her that was not proper etiquette and the food needed to be thrown out and a new order cooked for the customer. Also, the food quality was not good at all. On a pisitive side, the staff was very friendly and the order was quick. Most likley will not go back.

Ordered a very simple easy order and paid extra for bbq sauce and the zucchini dip and was given absolutely zero. The chicken tenders were extremely disappointing and the smallest serving imaginable. 2 little pieces of chicken for $5. Last I knew chicken wasn't super expensive. I will be calling them for a refund. It's bad enough I waited for 15 minutes to order then 25 to get the order but they absolutely screwed me on dipping sauces that I paid extra for. I should have looked before leaving. Lesson learned

This place is unbelievable, not only did I wait a half hour for my food and people were served that got there after me, then I get my order and get home to find 2 hot dogs with mustard relish and onion instead of PLAIN will not be returning

Their fish platter is my favorite also they make really good jalapeno poppers

Have loved this place for many years and my kids do too. Amazing food and tremendous service. Skye at the ice cream window is very nice and great customer service

It pains me to have to give a review like this because the food is great. My wife and I were in there yesterday May 9th to have lunch. A guy that works there apparently just started had asked my Wife for her phone number after telling her how nice it was to see her again as she went there with a friend days earlier. I think that this type of behavior is unacceptable. I was not standing with her at that exact moment when the incident happened but I also don’t need this happening every time my wife goes there. For you guys that do not want your wives hit on I would suggest a different place for them to go. In my opinion this is a family environment and should not be hit on by the staff. After all we are there to eat. This guy was wearing jeans and a hat and was trying to get my wife’s phone number like he was taking an order..

Almost end of season ice cream was good short on toppings, but that is understandable, I will go again

Maple creamies are the best!

Half my food was cold, I didn't receive sides I asked for and didn't get the correct side. I ordered fried mushrooms and got pickles. Luckily I like fried pickles but they came with an unknown sauce (doesn't say on board and I wasn't told what it was) which tasted like a house Bleu cheese. Which will make me sick. Burger was well well done and half the bacon was burned. They also don't have true maple creemes but advertise that they do on some post and admit imitation maple soft serve on others. It's imitation soft serve. Service was quick and prompt but not the same snack bar I remember in past years. Maple Angus will have all my future business.

Best fast food in Rutland vt. But it realy isn't fast food. It's simply some of the best food you'll eat eat in Rutland.

I've been going here since I was a child. It's a huge summer tradition here in Rutland. The food is delicious and the service is generally good. Also, recently I met Miss Teen Vermont here. She waited on us & was super friendly. This is a great place to bring the whole family.

Fantastic Comfort Food! 24 Flavors of Soft Serve Ice Cream! Dipped Cones! Seafood! This place has it all! Three HUGE covered seating areas with picnic tables. Everything is very clean, open and so comfortable. Great place to bring the kids or the whole family for a fun get together. Staff are professional, courteous, fast and friendly. Now let's talk about the food. O.M.G! The burgers are HUGE, juicy and so tasty! Was better than anything you can get in town even at the fancy places. Veggie burger is to die for! Ice Cream is wonderful and the selection amazing. It's the only place in Rutland to get cherry dipped cones! Take my advice. Drive right past Otter Creek, Doreen's and Ben & Jerry's...this place makes them look like dogfood! You won't be disappointed.

Pretty good food and ice cream for a nice sunny summer evening. Lots of outdoor seating. They even have and air-conditioned room if it gets too hot. It can be a bit buggy at times, but that is what you should expect eating outdoors. Great spot overall to eat out. There is also a small hiking trail in the back.

Cute little walkup with good food.

It's the local summer hot spot when your out and about and your looking for food. Fast friendly service. It can get quite busy at times so even though they are quick remember it's being prepared fresh. So when it's busy it will take a little longer. Always worth the wait.

Simple quick stop but not as many choice as I'm used to at my local Dairy Bar...

BEST place in Rutland for fish and chips, burgers, and of course amazing ice cream. So many flavors to choose from! You won't regret this summertime stop!

Well... Strip clam were slightly over done. Fries were delicious. Um guessing they use peanut oil or some kind of soy oil. I would not recommend it to someone with peanut allergies. Also the small cones were super tiny & expensive.

Awesome food! Their burgers are as good or better than any place in the area. Big, juicy, hand made patties on a perfectly toasted bun and dressed up however you like.And if you like seafood the clams, shrimp, and scallops are to die for. Even my picky husband loves their cole slaw.

I can't express how amazing the bang bang shrimp is. So tasty and fresh! Huge portion!

Not as good as previous years. Used to be my favorite place to go in summer. Hope it gets back to way it normally is next summer

Got order wrong. Sundae nuts were disgusting, can’t believe they would serve them. The ice cream portions were pathetically small. Not at all worth stopping.
